Inspiring American Leadership
Our guest experience for the National Medal of Honor Leadership and Education Center recognizes and honors the patriotism, service, leadership, commitment and sacrifice of Medal of Honor Recipients from the medal’s inception during the Civil War to our nation’s current conflicts. Our design team is developing an interpretive master plan that centers around the “American Experience,” encouraging guests to explore leadership and advocacy within their own communities.
Walk-through immersive environments, group participatory activities, media projections, and virtual reality experiences will promote experiential learning throughout the exhibits. Guests will personalize their experience by following recipients from different branches of the United States Armed Forces with RFID technology.
