Civics in Action
Housed in the Ohio Judicial Center, the Education Center integrates exhibit design and interactive media with historic architecture, encouraging guests to actively reflect on state law throughout the 20th century and its impact on citizens. The experience was designed to meet the needs of visiting school groups and educators, conveying the importance of the court, citizen’s rights, responsibilities, and privileges.
A dynamic tour features a re-created courtroom environment, film presentations, and a tactile display activity where guests can “balance” the three branches of government.
