The Georgia Capitol Museum
Bringing Government History To Life
A Neo-classical landmark in the heart of downtown Atlanta, the Georgia Capitol building was completed in 1889, and remains a working government office. Exhibition design, media, graphic treatments, and hands-on activities will be seamlessly integrated with historic architecture to preserve and interpret State history.
The 19,000-square-foot Interpretive Plan features augmented reality and audio tours, illustrating a chronological narrative. By incorporating unique features of the space into our design, such as views of the renaissance-style atrium and legislative chamber, we create an experience that will inspire guests to engage with their local government in a new capacity.
